 A report by the Photizo Group has found that the use of managed print services (MPS) can drastically cut energy use and companies¡¯ carbon footprint. The ¡°Environmental Impact Report¡± estimated that, with 11 percent of devices under MPS contracts, the C02 emissions voided are equivalent to more than 21 million propane cylinders typically used in barbeques.
The report also estimated that if another 11 percent of devices were under MPS contracts, the United States could cut the C02 emissions from 6 percent of the country¡¯s demand for oil every day. |
